Edge of Earth

style:rock/grunge/80s
I realized i haven't reviewed any old school bands. Well here you go and plus there from Australia, I'm surprised they aren't famous yet. They sound great, they mix the music well and they have the 80s sounds with twist. If you don't check them out you really are missing out on a great band.

The Hint

Style:rock/alliterative
Ahhhhhhh, I'm tired, just got back from party, but thought i would look around for a minute and I found this band. A very good choice if you like +44. They have accomplished more than some major record label bands, and still they go unsigned. I don't think i can say any more about this topic.

Amazing Concert

Last night I went to see two of the worlds best musicians alive, Jeff Autry, and Tony Williamson. Jeff was on the acoustic guitar, and he could finger pick like no other. Tony was on the mandolin, and you couldn't ask for a better mandolin player. Together it was a performance nobody would want to miss. They played jazzy bluegrass music, but the chords and finger picking made the music seem more like jazz. Tony's son came on stage in the middle of the show, and he was a good guitar player, he had a 1949 Gibson guitar. The show was held at Randy Woods Guitar shop were he make some of the world best guitars.

The Cutscene

Style:rock/electro/new wave
A good choice if you like rock and pop mixed together. Like Relent K or band similar to them. They have good musical talents, and a unique style. Though this is a band unlike any other I've posted they are still a good choice and i hope you find them entertaining.

The Garrison Year

Style:Indie/rock
I like this bands originality and the style. They remind me of Death Cab for Cutie. If the previous bands have been to hardcore for you this is one you might like. I look forward to seining them progress.

Apothecary

Style:punk/screamo
Thank Fake the Smile for this one (I found it off there myspace). A good band overall, their unique there talented, and they sound good. The way they put the multiple guitars work really good and makes them seem very experienced. The drum add the extra touch and makes the whole song come together. I recommend the songs "Nightmare Sleeping".

Mozart Season

Style:screamo/emo
It's a sad thing this band is calling it a quits this year, but they did have a good run and you can still check them out. I heard about them and wish i had heard sooner, because this band is great they are one of the best bands I've ever written about. Silverstein is a good idea about this band, but still that isn't a super close idea what they are like. It is a must you check them out if you like any of the other post i have done.

Don't Die Cindy

style:emo/experimental/rock
I'm a fan of all rock experimental bands, and this is one that goes on the edge a little bit. I like the music, but I'm NOT a fan of the singing, get a new singer and they have a lot of potential. There song the 'Green Room' is a good song until the lead singer trys to hum/sing. Still i suggest them but I'm not promising anything.

Pale Kids

Style:emo/alternative/sremo
One of the best Norway bands I've seen lately. The music has that different style i always look for. If your a fan of AFI or silverstein you should like them, its kind of a mix of both. I'm a big fan of foreign music and this goes in my top 10. To me they might need to work on the screaming but its not a big problem.

Ice Nine KIlls
style:punk/screamo
This band is taking over myspace music. They are one of the most recognised unsigned bands on myspace. Still a lot of people haven't heard of them. Their suicidal lyrics go good with the guitar and bass. Being one of my favorites bands and many more i say check them out! And look forward to seeing them get a record label in the next few years.

Shadow Agency

style:punk/rock
This is one of my friends favorite bands, and a good one in my opinion. For a smaller band the music quality is really good compared to most, it sounds better than some bigger bands. In my opinion though this is just a ok band, you might love them, but they really don't have a unique style. Still there worth checking out.

Burning Theory

Style:rock.....
For some reason i can't think of a good type of music to call this band, maybe you could help. Back to the band they have a different style of music. Its like a mix of everything , the music is great though, the guitar is better than most, but the drums can over shadow it at times. I really can't think of much to say about them but go check them out.

Dear Whoever

style:rock/hardcore/scremo
This band is very good at two things; drums and mixing scremo with with the drums and good music. The screaming is a little hardcore compared to other things I've posted but it isn't all the time its just put in time to time. I'm a big fan of the vocals and the way the music is put together.

Time and Distance

Time and Distance
style: Acoustic/rock/emo
A fast growing band with the talent to make it far. The guitar is a rock/acoustic with emotional lyrics. You might enjoy if you are a fan of light nirvana . I also recommend the song "lost in me".
This is one of my favorite bands so i think its a must to look at.

BLNT has the same sound has many of the already popular bands, but they mix in their own pop-punk and emo style makes it unique. If you a fan of Blink-182 you will most likely like BLNT. The band originates from L.A. and now is on tour in Japan

Farewell Nevada
Farewell Nevada
With a blend of many different styles, from hardcore to indie, Farewell Nevada has been compared to bands such as Senses Fail, Saves The Day, Mars Volta, and UnderOath. With melodic, dissonent-chorded riffs, Grooving bass/drum syncronization, Belting screams, Suicidal lyrics, and Homicidal vocal patterns, Farewell Nevada strays heavily from the typical Screamo/Emo/Indie status.
